Home/Fees & FAQ
Fees & FAQClear, upfront, no surprises.
Knowing what to expect makes it easier to begin. Here's how fees, insurance, and the practical details work.
- In-network with Aetna — sessions billed directly to your plan.
- Sliding scale available for a limited number of clients who qualify.
- Out-of-network? I provide monthly superbills you can submit for possible reimbursement.
- Secure telehealth via a HIPAA-compliant video platform.
- Payment due at the time of each session.
Your right to know
Under the federal No Surprises Act, you have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate explaining how much your care will cost. If you're uninsured or paying out of pocket, I'll provide a written estimate of expected charges before we begin.
You can ask for one at any time, and if a final bill is at least $400 more than your estimate, you may be able to dispute it. For questions about your rights, visit cms.gov/nosurprises.
Frequently asked
Do we meet in person or online?
All sessions are held online through secure, HIPAA-compliant video. I see clients located anywhere in California—including Santa Clarita, Malibu, the greater Los Angeles area, and the Conejo Valley—so you can do meaningful work from a place that feels comfortable to you.
How often will we meet?
Most clients begin with weekly 50-minute sessions, which gives the work momentum and continuity. As things shift, we can adjust the frequency together.
How do I get started?
Reach out through the contact page or by phone for a free, brief consultation. It's a no-pressure chance to share what's bringing you in, ask questions, and see whether we feel like a good fit.
What if Aetna isn't my insurance?
I'm an out-of-network provider for plans other than Aetna. Many clients use their out-of-network benefits—I'll provide a monthly superbill you can submit to your insurer for possible partial reimbursement.
Is there a sliding scale?
Yes. I hold a limited number of reduced-fee spots for clients for whom the standard fee is a barrier. If cost is a concern, please mention it when you reach out and we'll talk it through.
What's your cancellation policy?
I ask for at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule. Late cancellations and missed sessions are charged the full fee.
Still have a question?
I'm glad to answer anything before you decide. Reach out and I'll get back to you within one business day.
