About Me
Brittany is a licensed marriage and family therapist who specializes in the treatment of young adults and adults navigating through life transitions. She received her Master of Science in Counseling Psychology from California Lutheran University in 2010. Over the past 11 years, she has worked in several mental health treatment settings treating individuals with a variety of mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and eating disorders. She identifies as a psycho-dynamic therapist, but incorporates several different modalities into therapy such as Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Insight-Oriented Therapy. She is passionate about the work she does and strives to create a trusting and nurturing environment that fosters growth. In addition, Brittany is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) and the Trauma Resiliency Model (TRM).
